"Holguin is prepared to face the current situation, grow and arise stronger," said the president of the Councils of States and Ministers of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, at the close of the meeting held with national and local authorities to assess the actions taken in the eastern territory.

Given the energy situation the country is facing, the University of Holguin adopted a group of savings measures that will extend until September 30.

 

The highest political and administrative authorities of the province of Holguin provided detailed information on the measures undertaken in the territory to maintain vitality in the strategic sectors of the economy and services in the face of the current energy situation the country is experiencing, as a consequence of the intensification of the aggressive US policy against the Caribbean nation.
