State-owned company diversifies its services in Holguín

The Get Holguín Basic Business Unit (UEB), belonging to the Specialized IT Services Company for Tourism, strengthens its range of services by opening up to the private and state sectors as an economic alternative to boost the region's productivity.
The company is undergoing a customer service restructuring process that enhances digital transformation in the province, told to ACN Disney Ricardo Sánchez, director of the entity.
The services include technological support and assistance with software, hardware, connectivity, data, and cybersecurity, as well as the installation and technical assistance of connected networks.
He highlighted energy studies as a new line of business, which responds to the country's energy matrix shift policy and includes the design, assembly, and integration of renewable energy sources with specialized personnel.
Ricardo Sánchez also emphasized the installation of new renewable energy sources as one of the company's main business lines, aimed at guaranteeing the supply of drinking water and communications.
The implementation of Wi-Fi connectivity for the non-state sector, based on the client's contract with the Cuban Telecommunications Company (Etecsa) is also among the services provided.
Get has over 35 years of experience in providing information and communication services to the Cuban tourism industry and represents a boost toward the efficient and secure use of technology. (Source: ACN)
