Demonstrations to restore constitutional order in Honduras still continued Friday despites of the violent repression by the army, confirmed popular leaders to Prensa Latina.

The General Coordinator of the National Front against the Coup d'etat Juan Barahona affirmed Friday the State partisans will meet at the National Pedagogical University to agree actions against the Coupists.

Barahona was arrested Thursday during the armed forces repression to a peaceful march on the outskirts of the capital demanding restitution of the State of Rights and Constitutional President Manuel Zelaya.

The also President of the Unique Workers Federation said that he felt hurt for the maltreatment suffered during his arrest, along with nearly hundreds people, but with very high spirit to continue with the struggle.

Barahona, along with the rest of the people arrested were released after lawyer Rasel Tomé lodged an appeal to the Supreme Court of Justice.

Another main leaders of the Front Presidential candidate Carlos Humberto Reyes resulted with fracture in his left arm and with nine stitches on his head caused by repression.

The violent wave of repression prompted a wave of repudiation in large sectors of the Honduran society.

The Catholic Priest Andres Tamayo decried troops' brutality and the police lack of respect to children, women and elders./ PL
