Cuba won the gold at the Haarlem Baseball Week followed by Puerto Rico with the silver and the United States with the bronze.
With a 4-2 victory over Puerto Rico, undefeated during the meet, Cuban became the Champion of the games, hosted by The Netherlands.
Cuban Left-handed pitcher Norberto Gonzalez took the victory, and Puerto Rican Benigno Cepeda left with the defeat upon his shoulders.
