Clinical trials on Russian Covid-19 vaccine confirm its safety

The clinical trials on the Covid-19 vaccine done by the Gamaleya Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation have confirmed the safety of this compound and its good tolerability, the government reported on Wednesday.
 
The Government also reported that the first group of patients who received the vaccine left the Burdenko Hospital without complications.
 
Over 28 days after immunization, the vital signs of those persons remained within the normal parameters, so no serious side effects, complications or complaints about their health were shown.
 
Before leaving the hospital, those people underwent a medical examination and a blood test to study the immune response.
After 42 days of the first dosis, the volunteers must return to the hospital for one day to undergo the final medical checkup and sign the necessary papers. / PL
