The XII Meeting of Poets in Cuba " La Isla en Versos ", dedicated to Latin American poetics, concluded today at the Casa de Iberoamérica in the city of Holguín, with readings by important national and foreign poets and storytellers.
The participation of more than one hundred foreign guests from Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, and Venezuela will distinguish the 32nd edition of the Romerías de Mayo (May Pilgrimages), which will take place in the city of Holguín from May 2 to 8.
The Gibara International Poor Film Festival concluded this Saturday with the presentation of the Lucia Award for Best Fiction Work to “Natural Phenomena”, a feature film directed by Marcos Diaz Sosa, which stands out for the sensitive and metaphorical value of the story, combined with an excellent direction and acting performance.
