Health authorities in the province of Holguín carried out a training program for rental house owners, as part of the measures implemented here during the pre-epidemic stage of COVID-19, in order to prevent the spread of the disease throughout the national territory.

 

Cuba has full capacity to supply Interferon alpha 2B and other 22 medicines to the national health system in the fight and treatment of COVID-19. It is also s working on a vaccine against that disease.

 

At a time when the number of people infected with COVID-19 grows, mainly in the American region, Holguin increases monitoring actions in the fourteen municipalities, as part of the plan of prevention and confrontation against the new coronavirus in Cuba.
