A week of action in defense of Cuba begins this Sunday in the United States, organized by the National Network on Cuba (NNOC), comprised of more than 70 organizations that condemn the intensified blockade and threats against the Caribbean nation.
Different associations and organizations from Lebanon, Albania, and Mongolia expressed today their support for the people and government of Cuba, condemning the new measures by the United States that tighten the economic, commercial, and financial blockade against the Caribbean nation, reported the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cubaminrex.
Laurent Brun, member of the Confederal Bureau and Administrator of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT by its Spanish acronym ), announced a donation of 130,000 euros raised by the organization to support those affected in the eastern provinces following Hurricane Melissa.
