Twenty-five years after the Fourth Meeting of the São Paulo Forum (FSP) in Havana, Cuba will once again host this event devoted to the political coordination of leftist forces of the region, to debate and establish guidelines on the struggles that unite us. We spoke with Idalmis Brooks Beltrán, an official of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee’s International Relations Department, which works with the FSP.

 

Maria Emilia Quesada, the oldest person in Cuba and possibly the world, will be buried today in this city, where she was born 117 years ago, on January 5, 1901.

 

An international seminar on journalism and tourism begins today five days of sessions in Havana with the attendance of 65 reporters from 12 countries who will hear an update report on this industry in the island.
