A delegation from the Ministry of Tourism (MinTur) presented today at the Hotel Barceló in Mexico City the Destination Cuba and the Cuba Única campaign, with the news and new modalities of the sector.
President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez thanked countries which have taken a courageous, dignified position, denouncing exclusions from the Summit of the Americas, and stated that he will not attend the meeting, in any case.
Cuba joins today in the celebrations of Africa Day. "Africa, origin, and destination. We commemorate today, May 25, Africa Day. A continent that constitutes a point of origin, a common destiny, and of all hope," tweeted Cuban President Miguel-Diaz-Canel.
With the collaboration of the British Council Cuba, Ena Elsa Velazquez Cobiella, Cuban minister of education, is attending the largest gathering of global leaders in the sector, which takes place May 22-25 in London, United Kingdom.
