Cuba: 89.4% of the population fully vaccinated against Covid-19

A total of 9,899,478 people, 89.4 percent of Cuba's population, have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported on Friday.

The Popular Provincial Court of Havana held, between December 14th, 2021 and February 3rd, 2022, the oral and public trials corresponding to the six criminal cases for the events on July 11th and 12th of last year, at Esquina de Toyo, in Diez de Octubre municipality, and La Güinera, in Arroyo Naranjo municipality. These procedures were followed against 129 citizens, accused of committing and provoking serious disturbances and acts of vandalism, with the purpose of destabilizing public order, collective security, and citizen tranquility.
