The 14th International Meeting of Economists on Globalization and Development begins in Cuba on Tuesday with a group of national and foreign participants.
Cuba is preparing the 4th Conference on Nation and Emigration, to be held on November 18 and 19 in Havana with the participation of some 440 nationals residing abroad.
Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero today highlighted the multisectoral cooperation with China, "an expression of the strategic nature of the ties between a large and a small country, both socialist".
During a meeting at the Great Hall of the People in this capital, Xi said that Marrero is the only leader of a Latin American country who was invited to participate in the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE), which shows the importance this nation attaches to bilateral relations.
