Improving self-employment will have a positive impact on the Cuban economy

The opening to more than 2,000 activities of the 127 allowed to date in the exercise of self-employment (TCP), will positively impact the Cuban economy, according to Ileana Diaz Fernandez, a researcher at the Center for the Study of the Cuban Economy at the University of Havana.

Cuba expects US reverses measures taken under the pretext of sonic incidents

Cuba maintains its willingness to cooperate to find a solution and hopes that the measures taken under false pretexts will be reversed, Johana Tablada de la Torre, deputy director general for the United States at the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX), said referring to a report that proves the falsehood of the accusations against the country as a result of the alleged incidents with U.S. officials in Havana.
