The Cuban authorities are targeting reduced agricultural tariffs to stimulate the economy, a press report said.

Around 300 aftershocks, 15 of them perceptible, were registered in the central-eastern region of Cuba, informed Enrique Diego Arango Arias, head of the National Seismological Service of the National Center for Seismological Research (Cnais by its Spanish acronym).

President Miguel Díaz-Canel reported today that so far no loss of human lives has been reported as a consequence of the lashing of Cuba by the intense hurricane Rafael.
