Media, political forces, and civil society organizations from the Americas, Asia, and Europe have confirmed their participation in April in a media marathon against the U.S. blockade of Cuba, the promoters of the project said Friday.

The Russian airline Aeroflot has withdrawn from ticket sales destinations in Cuba, Mexico, and the United States due to the European Union's ban on the use of airspace by companies from this country.
Cuba called on Tuesday to preserve international peace and security. It denounced the United States' efforts to impose NATO's progressive expansion towards the borders of the Russian Federation.
