Holguín University graduates more health professionals

Since Tuesday the 21st, the municipal branches of the Holguín University of Medical Sciences (UCMHo) celebrate their graduation events for the 2019-2020 academic year, in which technical degrees, skilled workers and Health professionals receive their graduate diplomas.
The best graduates in each category were recognized during the, while the National Secretariat of the University Students Federation (FEU) praised the students involved in the fight against the COVID-19 in the territory.
The UCMHo central ceremony will take place this Friday the 24th at the Bariay Cultural Center, where more than 470 graduates of higher education from the municipality of Holguín will receive their diplomas.
The UCMHo graduates this year 1,686 professionals and 167 young people from the technical and vocational education and skilled workers, who already have a guaranteed a job and the possibility of continuing to improve themselves, as part of the line of work of this center of high studies, which dedicates its results to the memory of the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz and to the 67th Anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks and on the 62nd of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
Until the 2018-2019 school year, the University had registered 32, 373 graduates, of them 30,936 nationals and 2,347 from 48 other countries.
This University ranks third in enrollment, compared to other centers of its type in Cuba and has a faculty of more than 3,600 professors, including senior lecturer, assistants, assistants and consultants, who guarantee a high level of preparation for students from different careers.
