Holguin: Innovation contributes to import substitution

The services company Commander "Rene Ramos Latour" (Nicatorec) opened its doors to the market in 2013.
 
Among its main achievements in terms of innovation is the thermocouple temperature measurement, a project implemented for the first time at the Lidio Ramon Perez thermoelectric plant of Felton.

This project consists of transforming the types of energy in order to achieve a more reliably measure of the temperatures in the cylinders of Fiul engines in thermoelectric plants, thus showing a notable impact in terms of technical, economic, social and environmental factors.

It is a national generalization solution by guaranteeing greater accuracy within the production process, which also represents a great reliability for the national electro-energy system.
