Promoting research and participation in various projects characterizes the activity of the Study Centers of the University of Holguín. These areas include actions such as the improvement of the training of education professionals, the updating of scientific knowledge and the application of research results.
The approach of studies related to socioeconomic progress and the solution of territorial problems also occupies the interest of professionals working in these fields. It stands out programs related to technological innovation in companies and industrial centers and the promotion of capacities to expand production in sectors such as agriculture.
Promoting the management of community development and the efficiency of these processes affect their motivation to transfer and socialize the results of research in communities, including physical-therapeutic activity and combat sports.
As fundamental work, the centers of study of the university are involved in the monitoring, improvement, evaluation and impact of the training of doctors in business management, education sciences, history and the Holguín cultural identity and in sciences of physical culture.
In addition, they offer training courses and advice to institutions and productive entities, while promoting the introduction of international collaborative programs and projects in order to expand research at the Center of High Studies.
