To facilitate access to the online application and tracking of certifications of the Civil Status Registry, with the collaboration of Xetid in Holguín, two QR codes were made available to the public, one for each operation.

The proposal complements the progress steps in the Wellbeing Platform and refers to the application form on the website of the Ministry of Justice.

Its use can be done with national navigation, and scanning through Zapia or another application for QR code.

In meeting with the local press in the Provincial Directorate of Justice, it was informed that in the case to make it through the web, the user must enter the address https://www.minjus.gob.cu then to the Online Services section and later a Civil Status Registry to choose the Application Form, or the Follow-up.

For the first case, in the Applicant's Data the information belongs to the person requesting the document, who is not necessarily the owner of the registration, as there are the Certification Data boxes.

A person from abroad can also apply. If someone else is going to collect the document, the name and surname of that person is clarified.

The system notifies the mail of the date of collection in the Civil Registry that the citizen has selected. It also sends a Pin and Case Code, with which you can access the Case Tracking tool and know where yours is.

Lídice Irasema Cruz Figueredo, Head of the Department of Civil Records in the northeastern territory, said that the certification sent to the telephone can be used digitally in the requesting entities; and user can print it if he wishes and only go to the Registry to have it signed and stamped.

Faced with the new rates in legal services, Cruz Figueredo explained that only the tax on the document is paid, with a five-peso stamp. In the case of Name Change, the stamp is 20 and for Legal Capacity 10.
