Holguín: four hospital discharges and the same number of COVID-19 cases

The province of Holguín reported on Monday four hospital discharges and the same number of positive cases to COVID-19, three imported and one autochthonous case, for a cumulative of 58 and 25, respectively, from November until now.
 
According to information from the Public Health Directorate, the three positive cases imported correspond to travelers from the United States, Russia and Ethiopia who arrived to the municipalities of Gibara, Holguín and Moa, while the autochthonous case is contact of a previously confirmed patient from the René Ávila health area.

Holguín currently reports 22 patients admitted to health institutions and 31 suspect cases.

In the last 15 days, 42 confirmed cases have been reported, 11 of them autochthonous and 31 imported with a total incidence rate of 4.10 per 10,000 inhabitants, while the autochthonous is 1.07 per 10,000 people.

The health authorities reiterate the need to maintain the prevention and hygiene measures established in the biosecurity protocol.
