The Casa de Iberoamérica, in collaboration with the University of Holguín, has convened to participate in the XIX Ibero-American Congress of Thought, which will take place from October 25 to 27, 2024, in the city of Holguín, as part of the Ibero-American Culture Festival.

Under the theme "30th Anniversary of the Ibero-American Culture Festival", the event will explore the integration of Latin America and the Caribbean as cultural spaces, in an in-person format.

Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to the Congress in various categories, such as author, speaker, trainee or observer, presenting their experiences through articles, conferences, pre- and post-congress courses, as well as videos and streamings.

The works selected by the Scientific Committee will be published in the event proceedings with ISBN. Topics ranging from sociodemographic studies to gender and heritage issues will be addressed.

To be considered, authors must send a digital version of their proposals, with a maximum of 5 pages in Arial 12 and one and a half spaces. The deadline for admission is September 10, 2024 and works with a propositional approach will be prioritized. The Organizing Committee will communicate the acceptance of the proposals between September 15 and 20, 2024.

In addition to the academic presentations, collateral actions will be offered such as pre- and post-congress workshops and courses, which will be detailed in future communications. This Congress promises to be an enriching space for the exchange of ideas and critical reflection on relevant issues for the Ibero-American region.

The Organizing Committee is led by outstanding figures such as the Doctor in Historical Sciences Eduardo Torres Cuevas; the MSc. Isaíris Rojas París, director of the Casa de Iberoamérica; and the MSc. Bárbara Martínez Pupo, sociologist and researcher, who serves as President of the Organizing Committee of the Ibero-American Congress of Thought.
