The virtual exhibition Camouflage of virility, by the artist Annia Leyva, is being exhibited at the Provincial Center of Plastic Arts in the city of Holguín as part of the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of this institution and the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia in Cuba.

Displayed at the Artistas Holguineros Art Center’s profile, the exhibition brings together 10 digital photographs, which shows two male models represented in a performative way, the artist told ACN.

The photographs, she added, recreate power struggles, psychological violence, among other manifestations that can be identified as the response of the LGBT + community to the difficult confrontation with homophobic society.

Camouflage of virility constitutes a series of metaphors to, from art, understand and grow as better human beings, explained the artist.
