The Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA to its Spanish acronym) urged today on Twitter to combat the effects of climate change with global initiatives and national plans that have an impact at the local level, such as the Cuban Tarea Vida (Task Life).

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel called on Wednesday for a united Ibero-America in the face of inequalities and the current world economic crisis during the 27th Summit of heads of state and government of the region.

Cuba's project CMHS Radio Caibarien, La Voz de la Villa Blanca (the Voice of the White Village) on Wednesday won a prize in the media category, granted by the 2021 World Summit on the Information Society.

Officials from Cuba's Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment (CITMA) said Tuesday the country will showcase its favorable results in the implementation of innovation for sustainable development during the XXVII Ibero-American Summit of Heads of States and Government to be held virtually this Wednesday.
