Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel on Monday urged the implementation of effective solutions, based on creative resilience, to circumvent the complex economic scenario the country is experiencing.

The Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CC-PCC), Roberto Morales Ojeda announced on Wednesday the holding of the VII Plenary Session of the body, this Friday, December 15 and Saturday, December 16.

The Tenth Legislature of Cuba’s National Assembly of People’s Power (Cuban Parliament) will consider during its December 20 Session, a series of bills and issues, submitted by the Cuban Council of State, which held sessions Tuesday in the presence of Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel.

The economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States is a flagrant, massive and systematic violation of the human rights of the Cuban people, denounced today in Geneva, Switzerland, Ines Maria Chapman, deputy Cuban prime minister.
