Cuba is preparing the 4th Conference on Nation and Emigration, to be held on November 18 and 19 in Havana with the participation of some 440 nationals residing abroad.

Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero today highlighted the multisectoral cooperation with China, "an expression of the strategic nature of the ties between a large and a small country, both socialist".

During a meeting at the Great Hall of the People in this capital, Xi said that Marrero is the only leader of a Latin American country who was invited to participate in the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE), which shows the importance this nation attaches to bilateral relations.

Cuba's resolution at the United Nations General Assembly was put to a vote on Thursday for the 31st time -- annually since 1992 -- with a vote of 187 against and 2 in favor of Washington's blockade, with one abstention.
