Six Cuban Hotels Nominated for World Travel Awards

The nomination of six hotel facilities of the Meliá Hotels International Cuba Company for the World Travel Awards of 2018 is a new success for Cuban tourism, as opposed to the defamatory campaign of the United States government.
According to the announcement, published today by the Prensa Latina news agency, the Meliá Cohiba hotels in Havana, and Meliá Cayo Coco hotels, in the central region, are among those selected as Cuba's Leading Hotel.

In the Cuba's Leading Resort segment were nominated the Paradisus Princesa del Mar, Paradisus Varadero and Paradisus Río de Oro, three exclusive eco-resorts under the all-inclusive concept.

The Level Master Suite room, of the Meliá Cohíba hotel, completes the list of nominees in the Cuba's Leading Hotel Suite section.

The World Travel Awards, created in 1993, distinguish quality in the various activities related to the global travel and tourism industry.

Currently, the brand is internationally recognized as a seal of excellence for the industry of the sector.

So far in 2018, more than three million travelers from different parts of the world arrived in the country, despite restrictions imposed by the United States on travel to Cuba. / PL
