Holguin Hospital Undergoing Wide Investment Program

Photo: Radio AnguloMore than one million 660 thousand pesos will be invested by the Cuban State in the Vladimir Ilich Lenin University Hospital during 2018, to follow up on the repair and maintenance plan in the main areas of the health institution, with more than six decades in operation. The investment Project includes the Microbiology Department, the Territorial Center for Assisted Reproduction, the Central Surgical Unit, Oncology and Obstetrics, as well as external consultation departments.
Renovation works also includes the clinic for diabetic patients, the area of Pathological Anatomy and the Care Center for Patient’s Family.
In 2017 the Lenin Hospital had an amount of more than one million 228 thousand pesos for the conditioning of another important areas, of which six have been completed, such as the laundry, the dining kitchen and the location of the radiochemical bell at the Oncology Center.
The investment program also included the renovation of the Neonatology Service and the brachytherapy room, while promoting other objects of work that continue this year, such as the electrical system.
