The fire that broke out around 2:37 p.m. in the boiler of block two of the Lidio Ramón Pérez Thermoelectric Power Plant in Felton, Holguín, has been put out with no loss of human lives.

Cuban prime minister Manuel Marrero Cruz and Commander of the Revolution Guillermo Garcia Frias are attending today the opening day of the 13th Nature Tourism Event (Turnat 2022), in Havana.
The autochthonous and asymptomatic cases at the time of diagnosis mark the epidemiological situation due to COVID-19 in the province, where 243 of the 278 positives reported from February 10 to 24 correspond to cases of transmission within the territory, of which 155 did not present symptoms of the disease.
