The health system in the province of Holguín extends studies on teenage pregnancy to rural and difficult-to-access localities where the highest rates of this indicator are concentrated in the territory.

With the aim to promote knowledge of archaeological, historical, cultural, economic and political topics, the Casa de Iberoamérica in Holguín invites to participate in the “José Manuel Guarch Delmonte” Annual Research Award.

Some 30 individuals between 19 and 59 years of age have traveled from Italy to Cuba to take part as volunteers in the Soberana Plus Turin clinical trial, being conducted by institutions in the two countries.
