Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Monday denounced the media campaign against his country and assured that it is based on the scarcity caused by the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba.
The US government's announcement of new measures on Cuba “is a limited step in the right direction,” though they do not change the blockade, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez wrote in Twitter.

Faced with the increase of confirmed cases of the SARS-Cov-2 virus due to the spread of the Delta variant, Cuba will expand mass anti-COVID-19 vaccination with the incorporation of new territories and vulnerable groups.
